Current concrete block building practices need around 50% of the weight of the block (around 16 pounds per unit) as additional material to adhere the pieces together, this adhesive material is a masonry mortar that contains cement, fine aggregates (sand) and water. These substantial amount of materials needed must be prepared on jobsite; and the required effort, tools, time and cost to prepare it represents an important part of the whole wall building process.
TrueMortar is an alternative for the block laying and bonding process that would significantly lower costs, time and the need for tools. Needing just 0.4 pounds of adhering material per unit !
